New Year's Resolutions... photo memories!!

Do you love or hate resolutions?...going to the gym, eating healthier, dieting, promising to change something that may or may not happen...if you are like me I have good intentions every year.

Think of this not as a resolution but the perfect time to spend time with family (whether near or far away)..now that doesn't sound too bad, right?

I've learned this past year that more than gifts, shopping, pretty much anything new...the most important things to me are in albums or in a box. As a photographer...I knew this years ago. Why it never registered to me to make my history and boxes of memories my top priority I do not know. The best time to learn about your past is while the people in the photos are alive...not when it's a box of the past.

We lost a whole side of our family...why didn't I get that history while there was someone special to tell me that story, place, or special memory. This is where I come in.
